Spring registration begins March 16th. Are you registration ready?
Hello Members,
After what feels like a very long and cold winter, it is wonderful to start seeing signs of spring. One of those signs is the arrival of our Spring Activity Guide available on our website with printed copies also available at all branch locations. The guide is full of programs to keep you active and connected as the weather grows warmer.
Spring program registration begins at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 16.
As you browse the guide and prepare for registration day, here are a few helpful reminders.
1. Check your membership
Please ensure your membership is current before registration day. If your membership has expired, you will not be able to register for programs online. If you are unsure about your membership status, please give us a call and we will be happy to check for you.
2. Online membership renewals
Membership renewals completed online can take up to 24 hours to appear in the system. If your membership expires any time soon, it’s best to renew it NOW. The online system cannot process membership renewals and program registrations on the same day. Avoid registration day disappointment by ensuring that your membership is current.
3. Registration day support
Registration days are very busy for our team. If you experience trouble with the online system, please email info@oscc.ca and staff will follow up as soon as possible. We ask that you wait until later in the day before leaving a voicemail, as the morning hours, especially before noon, are when our staff are focused on assisting members in person. We will return your call as soon as we can.
4. Financial Assistance
With registration approaching, we would also like to remind members about our Building Belonging Pay Your Life Forward Subsidy Fund. This fund helps seniors who face financial barriers participate in our programs and services. We are grateful to the donors whose contributions helped launch the fund in December 2025. Applications are now open for those needing assistance. Information can be found on our website or at any front desk. Together we can help ensure more seniors stay active, connected, and supported.
5. Member Survey
Our Member Survey is still open. Thank you to everyone who has already shared feedback.
Your input helps guide the future of programs and services at OSCC55+.
We look forward to a wonderful spring season with you!
