Renewing Member Information

Ready? Set? Renew!

As an active member of the OSCC55+, you know the ropes and are enjoying the many opportunities we offer to stay connected and active. Is your membership about to expire? You can renew in person at any OSCC55+ Branch, or renew online with a few simple mouse clicks.

Our current membership cost is $25 for Oshawa Residents and $30 for Non-Residents (tax included). Memberships are valid for 12 months from purchase. 

Ready to get started? Follow the steps listed below to renew your membership online.

  1. Go to register.oscc.ca
  2. Click on ‘Log in' in the top purple navigation bar.
  3. Enter the email associated with your existing account and enter your password.

Have you forgotten your password? Click ‘Reset Password" if you've forgotten your password. Enter the email associated with your existing online account, and a reset link will be emailed to you to update your password within 15 minutes.

  1.  Click on ‘Log in' in the top purple navigation bar.
  2.  Once you are logged in, your name will appear on the right hand side of the purple banner.
  3.  Proceed to Step three.

Please note:

If you are part of a family group everyone will use the same email address, but each member should have their own unique password. Please call 905-576-6712 extension 2830 for Administration assistance if you are sharing an email address with another member.

It's important to know if your membership is still active (a few days, weeks, or months left) or expired (your renewal date has passed and your membership is no longer valid.

You can check your expiry date by clicking on your name on the right hand side of the purple banner, click on 'my memberships' and your membership information will appear on the screen.

Please note the expiry date of your current membership - you will need this information in order to purchase your next membership.

If your membership is still active, proceed to Step two. You can set your new membership to begin the day after your current membership expires.

Not sure if your membership is still active or expired? Call us at 905-576-6712 extension 2830 and we can look up this information for you.

  1. Click ‘Become a Member' in the Become a Member box.
  2. Click the ‘More' button within the Oshawa Resident or Non-Resident option (whichever is applicable) on the bottom right of the box.
  3. In the details box, under Start Date, choose the calendar icon on the right hand side and click on the day after your current membership expires.
  4. Under Contract User, make sure it is your own name listed, if not, use the drop down arrow to select your name. 
  5. Click the purple ‘Update Price' button; the Contract Summary information will appear for your review.
  6. Click the purple ‘Add to Cart' button.
  7. Proceed to Step four.

  1.  Click the purple ‘Checkout' button
  2. Click on the circle box beside ‘Agree' stating you have read and agree to the terms of the OSCC 55+ Membership Waiver.
  3. Click purple ‘Submit' button.
  4. Click the square box beside "I Agree to the Terms and Conditions"
  5. Click the "Confirm & Continue" button. You will be directed to the Moneris payment site to complete the transaction.
  6. Enter payment information on the Checkout screen:
  • Cardholder Name – exactly how it is printed on your credit card
  • Card Number – no spaces
  • Expiry Date – enter only the month and year with no slash
  • Card Security Code – located on the back of the card for MC, VISA and on the front for AMEX

  7. Click teal ‘Checkout' button. You will receive an order confirmation and your receipt with be emailed to you.
  8. Proceed to Step five.

Please note:

Transactions will appear as a ‘City of Oshawa' purchase.
