Q - What programs do you have here?
Q - What about card programs. Can I just drop in?
A - Our recreation programs are a fun and inexpensive way to get involved in activities that will keep you invigorated both mentally and physically. These include our card programs, and they are open to everyone with at current OSCC55+ membership.
At this time, the recreation programs are 'drop in', however if you are new, we recommend that you contact our Recreation and Special Events Coordinators ahead of attending for the first time so that they can introduce you to the group and show you the ropes.
Q - What services do you provide to help me maintain my independence?
A - We provide many community support services to support your health and wellness. We provide Foot Care Clinics, Adult Day Program, Income Tax Services, as well as Transportation Services to and from our branches for programs.
The OSCC55+ Client Referral Program is a free and confidential service assisting seniors with community resources and providing peer support to help cope with life changes.
Q - How do I get a membership?
A - Membership can be processed in person at any of our Branch front desks or online.
Membership cost is $25 for Oshawa Residents and $30 for Non-Residents (tax included). Memberships are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Q - I'm at the Delpark Branch. Can I used the pool or walking track?
A - No. The OSCC55+ membership is a separate membership from the City of Oshawa.
We have a variety of programs available for those that are 55+. More information about the pool and walking track can be found in the City of Oshawa website.
Q - Is my membership good at all the OSCC55+ Branches?
A - Absolutely. When you join the OSCC55+, your membership is valid at any of our branch locations, plus online.
Q - Are you looking for Volunteers?
A - A great way to get involved with OSCC55+ is to volunteer with the Partners at Work Program.
