Does your family member: As a caregiver, do you:
  1. Experience memory loss or have dementia
  2. Cope with memory related disability
  3. Require extra support to get involved
  1. Provide care to an older adult
  2. Need respite support
  3. Feel overwhelmed trying to cope with complex care needs

If so, the Let's Connect Program may be right for you!

The Let’s Connect program enables participants of the Adult Day Program to learn tablet computer game skills that they can carryover and utilize independently in the home environment, with minimal assistance from caregivers.

When people with dementia engage in the program independently in the home setting, it allows their caregivers greater
free time from caregiving duties, allowing them to maintain social connections and to avoid burnout.

It is important to note, people with dementia are capable of learning these new skills.

Let's Connect! Learn more by watching the online workshop today or download the Caregiver Manual  You can also check out our list of Apps Used for the project.

Caregiver testimonials are a great way to see how you can benefit from this program - an OSCC client's family talks about Let's Connect with Daytime Durham.

The Let's Connect project was made possible by a SEED Grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. We are pleased to announce the expansion of the project coming 2017 - 2019 thanks to a GROW Grant form the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
