Adult Day Program

Join in the fun by attending one of our Adult Day Programs!

OSCC55+ Adult Day Program (ADP) is for older adults who need extra help to get involved. We provide a caring and supportive program for seniors, as well as peace of mind and respite to caregivers. ADP is available up to five days per week at four locations.

ADP helps adults and seniors who:

  • experience memory loss
  • cope with a disability
  • are lonely or isolated
  • require extra help to get involved

Benefits to caregivers include:

  • reassurance
  • knowledge
  • guidance
  • an economical alternative to private in-home care
  • help finding other services 

 Activities include:

  • John Street Branch 
  • Conant Branch 
  • Faith Place  Specialized ADP is for seniors who have higher care needs and is a secure program.

FAQ's:

Q - How do I get started?

A-The Central East Home and Community Care Support Services (CE-HCCSS) refer all clients to us. Call 905-430-3308.

Book or schedule a tour of one of our ADP locations by calling 905-576-6712 ext. 2830.

Q – What is the cost?

A-$14.00 for the daily Adult Day Program fee.

Meals priced separately, or you can bring your own lunch.

The ADP is a government-subsidized program by Ontario Health. There is an annual one-time cost for an OSCC55+ membership.

Q – Do I have to come every day?

A-Usually a client begins with one or two days per week, and based on their needs and our schedule we can increase their days.

Q – Where does the ADP take place?

A-We have 4 locations to service you in the City Of Oshawa. You do not need to live in Oshawa to take part.

Q – What other services may be helpful for me?

A-Food Services, Foot Care services, Income Tax, Transportation, other community agencies.
