The OSCC55+ have been helping adults aged fifty-five plus improve their quality of life through excellence in programs and services since 1968. We encourage older adults in Oshawa and the surrounding community to join us.
The World Health Organization (W.H.O.) developed an age-friendly initiative to assist communities in planning for the aging population. In response to this initiative, the City of Oshawa and the Oshawa Senior Community Centres 55+ led consultations and surveyed the community to develop the Age Friendly Strategy’s 72 recommendations.
