The safety, health and well-being of our seniors remains our top priority.

In response to Durham Region municipalities entering Stage 3 of its Framework for Reopening, OSCC55+ has reopened branches for limited use, using a phased approach and ensuring compliance with provincial emergency orders and Durham Region Health guidelines. See COVID-19 info & reopening updates for more information.

Our team is here for you during this time. All programs listed below will continue as we transition to in-person programs and services. Telephone Outreach Program
Would you or a senior you know like to receive weekly check-in calls during this time of physical distancing? OSCC55+ is pleased to provide a weekly phone check-in service to help reduce feelings of isolation. To register, please call 905-576-6712 ext. 2830 or email info@oscc.ca
 Social Connecting through Facebook
Follow Oshawa Senior Community Centres 55+ on facebook for entertaining videos, program and fitness demonstrations and useful links to help keep you engaged and active. We invite you to comment and share with your friends, stay connected to your community. We'll get through this together!
Online Programs 
Our staff are actively planning new and innovative programs for you to enjoy on your computer, smart phone or tablet from the convenience of your home. These interactive programs will be accessible via our Online Programs page and hosted through Zoom. Please note, recreation programs do remain free at this time, but registration and membership is required for online continuing education courses beginning September 21, 2020. OSCC55+ has developed a Resource Guide to assist during the Covid-19 pandemic. Looking for additional resources? Contact us or call 905-576-6712 ext. 2830 and our staff will be happy to assist you.
Grocery Order and Delivery Service
The OSCC55+ is offering a free delivery service for your grocery needs.  Just call or email with your order. In partnership with a local grocery store your order will be filled. Once filled the  OSCC55+ van service will deliver your order to your door. The driver will present you with the grocery bill and accept your payment by cheque. NEW! Frozen Meals Order & Delivery Program
We are pleased to announce, thanks to a grant from the United Way, OSCC55+ and Pelican Catering are able to once again provide you with access to nutritious frozen meals at the cost of just $5 each meal. If interested in placing an order, call 905-576-6712 ext. 2830 or email us at groceries@oscc.ca . Orders can be placed anytime, but no later than Mondays at noon for Wednesday delivery.
