Do you enjoy working with older adults and want to spend your summer contributing to the success of a vibrant seniors’ active living centre? Then we may have the right summer job for you!

We are currently recruiting for three positions funded by the Government of Canada though the Canada Summer Jobs Program. You must be aged between 15 and 30 and be legally entitled to work in Canada. International students are not eligible.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour, 35 hour work week

Duration: 8 week position, beginning July 4, 2022 until August 26, 2022

Student Volunteers

The OSCC55+ is proud to partner with post-secondary institutions, colleges and universities to support students looking for placements as part of their curriculum.

Students looking to volunteer follow the regular volunteer application process and become a part of the Student Crew. Student Crew members assist with various activities including:

  • special events
  • fundraising events
  • yard maintenance
  • meal services
  • general administration tasks

Student Co-op Placements

Students looking to complete a mandatory school placement are also welcome and are encouraged to learn more before contacting the OSCC55+.
