We strive to ensure that volunteers are treated as valued and integral members of our team with a planned and integrated approach for ongoing volunteer engagement. As such, the OSCC55+ has received a grant through the New Horizons for Seniors Program to fund a Volunteer Engagement Project.
The Volunteer Engagement Project aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of volunteers, while reducing role-related risks, through a series of training opportunities starting in September 2024.
