We strive to ensure that volunteers are treated as valued and integral members of our team with a planned and integrated approach for ongoing volunteer engagement. As such, the OSCC55+ has received a grant through the New Horizons for Seniors Program to fund a Volunteer Engagement Project.
The Volunteer Engagement Project aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of volunteers, while reducing role-related risks, through a series of training opportunities starting in September 2024. Thank you to all the volunteers who took the time to complete our training needs survey! The results are in, and we are excited to present our 2024-2025 Volunteer Training Calendar below.
