Why Volunteer?

There are as many good reasons to volunteer as there are volunteers, so...

If you would like to get involved in your community;

... then volunteering is for you! For whatever reason you join, it's the right one!

The strength of the Oshawa Senior Citizens Centres is the volunteers, participants and staff, who together share the planning, organizing and evaluating of programs, which fulfill the Centre's mandate.

Some volunteers participate in committees and help to design the plans. Others roll up their sleeves and help carry out those plans... and we need people and appreciate ALL OF THEM!

How Do I Get Involved?

Simply drop into either the John Street Branch, Northview Branch, Legends Branch or Conant Branch or call 905-576-6712 to obtain a volunteer application form. After you submit your application, the Manager of Volunteer and Community Relations will contact you. Together, you will find a volunteer position that combines your personal goals and the Centre's needs.
