Day Programs

A Day Program is:

• caregiver relief
• for those who need the support of staff & volunteers to get involved
• for those who may be less mobile but want to be active
• for seniors who enjoy spending time with people
• an opportunity to meet people, learn new skills and enjoy yourself

Day Program Includes:

• access to transportation to and from the centre
• special events
• recreational activities such as shuffleboard and carpet bowling
• hot nutritional meal served at mid-day
• friendly volunteers and staff to assist you
• leisure activities such as gardening, crafts, cards and games
• chair exercise, yoga, gigong, music and art
• access to programs and services offered at the centre (footcare, health and information, seminars, day trips, courses, etc.)
• caregiver support group

Some Details:

• operates up to six days per week including Saturdays
• John Street Branch operates Monday-Saturday
• Northview Branch operates Monday-Friday
• Conant Branch operates Monday-Friday
